On 18 December, at around 2:55 p.m., police officers went to an apartment in Jelenia Góra in response to an intervention request. A father reported that his son was being aggressive. It turned out that the men had argued about... a Christmas tree. They could not agree whether it should be real or artificial.
During the official proceedings, the police officers detected a strong smell of marijuana. A search led to the seizure of five boxes containing drugs. In total, the officers secured marijuana from which more than 1,700 doses could have been obtained.
A scale used for portioning the drugs was also seized. The 25-year-old stated that he possessed the drugs for his own use and had bought them in the Czech Republic.
The Jelenia Góra resident was taken into police custody. Officers are currently clarifying all the circumstances of the case, determining the source of the seized drugs and checking whether the man was involved in their distribution.
The 25-year-old could face up to 15 years in prison.
