Officers from the 2nd Police Station in Jelenia Góra detained a 20-year-old resident of Janowice Wielkie, suspected of attempted break-ins and burglaries.
As officers established, in December this year the detainee committed at least eight such offences in the city. His spoils included power tools, bicycles, metal elements and other small items.
Police are currently clarifying all the circumstances of these cases in detail and identifying further victims.
The 20-year-old faces up to 10 years in prison.
