Officers from the Police Station in Nowogrodziec detained a 19-year-old resident of Bolesławiec County, suspected of breaking into a school cafeteria and stealing more than PLN 4,500. The incident occurred during the night of December 11–12 this year. The suspect’s detention was the result of operational work and an analysis of surveillance footage.
The 19-year-old confessed and gave an explanation. Police recovered more than half of the stolen cash.
The young man now faces up to 10 years in prison.
