Piotr Roman: “I have met repeatedly on this matter both with the director of the Lower Silesian Service of Roads and Railways and with the marshal. The construction of the bypass is the responsibility of the Lower Silesian Voivodeship. We are counting on those governing the voivodeship to reflect and accelerate construction. Otherwise, the city will become gridlocked and there will be a problem getting people to work. We will lobby strongly to ensure that this bypass is actually built and that its construction is accelerated.”

The mayor added that, according to information obtained by the municipal authorities, the south-eastern section has a better chance of seeing work begin—namely, from the forester’s lodge (the exit toward Lwówek) to the Solidarności roundabout in Kruszyn.
