Officers from the Police Station in Warta Bolesławiecka, investigating break-ins targeting truck fuel tanks, identified two suspects in the crimes. Moreover, it turned out that a 30-year-old resident of Warta Bolesławiecka commune and a 31-year-old foreign national were employees of the company that was being robbed.
From September to November this year, the perpetrators broke into truck fuel tanks as many as 29 times, stealing fuel from them. In addition, in August 2015, the 30-year-old broke in five times and stole fuel on his own.
The losses were estimated at more than 6,000 zlotys. Both detainees confessed to the crimes. They face up to 10 years in prison.
