Since the first days of November this year, municipal police officers have been inspecting places where homeless people may stay. Officers of the Bolesławiec Municipal Police have drawn up an up-to-date list of these locations, which has also been passed on to the police.
Based on their experience, the uniformed officers know that if weather conditions deteriorate, more homeless people may appear in various places around the city: in our stairwells, allotment gardens, bin enclosures and abandoned buildings.
“We appeal to residents to report such situations both to the municipal police and the police,” say the Bolesławiec officers. “All reports are verified.”
Officers of the Bolesławiec Municipal Police inform homeless people where they can obtain the necessary assistance. Furthermore, in situations posing a threat to health or life, they immediately call an ambulance.
