The incident occurred during the night of November 28–29 this year in Szklarska Poręba. When the man was returning from an Andrzejki party with his wife, an argument broke out between them. As a result, the 28-year-old took out his anger on three flower pots, kicking them and tearing them from the building’s walls. Their value was estimated by the owner at PLN 500.
One of the residents notified the police. He also provided a description of the vandal. Officers began searching for him. Near the scene, they noticed a man whose appearance matched that of the wanted perpetrator. He turned out to be a 28-year-old resident of Szklarska Poręba.
The vandal was taken into police custody. He was drunk at the time of his arrest. A test for alcohol content in his body showed more than 2 per mille.
He could now face up to 5 years in prison.
