On 27 January, the 7th Christmas Wafer Meeting for People with Disabilities from Bolesławiec County will take place in the sports hall at I LO. The meeting will begin at 11:00 with a solemn Mass celebrated with the participation of Bishop Stefan Regmunt. Afterwards, the participants will exchange greetings and sit down at a shared table. The programme will also include an artistic performance featuring people with disabilities and the distribution of Christmas parcels to children with disabilities. This year, deaf and mute people can also participate in the Christmas Wafer Meeting, as the organisers have arranged for a sign language interpreter to be present.

Registration for people with disabilities who would like to attend the Christmas Wafer Meeting is open until 15 January at Social Welfare Centres and at the Friends of Children Society in Bolesławiec, at 2A Chrobrego Street, tel. 075 732 47 47. The organisers of the 7th Christmas Wafer Meeting for People with Disabilities are: the Bolesławiec East and Bolesławiec West Deaneries, the Nowogrodziec Deanery and parishes in Bolesławiec County, the Social Affairs and Health Department of the County Office, and the Friends of Children Society.
