The meeting followed the update by the Managing Authority of the RPO of the application call schedules for 2015 and 2016. In accordance with the procedures, some calls are conducted with a territorial division into Strategic Intervention Areas (OSI). Five Strategic Intervention Areas have been designated in the Lower Silesian Voivodeship. These are: the Legnica-Głogów Intervention Area, the Barycz Valley Intervention Area, the Wrocław Plain Intervention Area, the Dzierżoniów-Kłodzko-Ząbkowice Intervention Area and the Western Intervention Area.
The Western Intervention Area comprises: the Municipality of Bolesławiec, the Municipality of Bolesławiec, the Municipality of Gromadka, the Urban-Rural Municipality of Nowogrodziec, the Municipality of Osiecznica, the Municipality of Warta Bolesławiecka, the City of Lubań, the City of Świeradów-Zdrój, the Urban-Rural Municipality of Leśna, the Municipality of Lubań, the Urban-Rural Municipality of Olszyna, the Municipality of Platerówka, the Municipality of Siekierczyn, the Urban-Rural Municipality of Lwówek Śląski, the City of Zawidów, the City of Zgorzelec, the Urban-Rural Municipality of Bogatynia, the Urban-Rural Municipality of Pieńsk, the Municipality of Sulików, the Urban-Rural Municipality of Węgliniec, the Municipality of Zgorzelec and the Municipality of Zagrodno.
The meeting took place on 20 November. It focused on the possibility of applying for support from the ERDF and ESF within the available allocations, as well as arrangements concerning the procedures. During the meeting, the local government officials conducted a preliminary analysis of the indicated projects and the possibilities of consolidating activities when applying for funding from the available sources.
