Kornel Makuszyński Primary School No. 16 is preparing the Legnica Dictation Contest for the 12th time, under the patronage of the city’s mayor. The major spelling test will take place on 11 December this year at 11. The first participants (at 11:00) will be secondary-school students, university students and adults. An hour later, it will be taken by students in grades 5–6 of primary schools and lower-secondary-school students, while at 13:00 it will be the turn of students in grades 1–4 of primary schools.
The contest is open to residents of Legnica and the surrounding area. In the individual categories, the titles “Legnica City Spelling Champion” and “Legnica City Spelling Vice-Champion” will be awarded, and every participant will receive a certificate of participation in the dictation contest.
Written or electronic applications are accepted by the secretariat of Primary School No. 16 in Legnica, 9 Tatrzańska Street, tel. 76 723 32 20, e-mail: sp16legnica@wp.pl until 7 December. The entry fee is PLN 5 and should be paid by 9 December.
