At the Municipal Social Welfare Centre, Bolesławiec Deputy Mayor Kornel Filipowicz conveyed his appreciation and thanks to all social welfare employees for their commitment and daily work for people in need.
The day-to-day objective of the Municipal Social Welfare Centre is to organise and carry out social welfare tasks in Bolesławiec, aimed at enabling individuals and families to become self-reliant and at integrating them into the community.
MOPS activities include supporting families experiencing difficult life circumstances, motivating them to use their own abilities and to participate in solving their problems.
Its activities also include organising preventive measures aimed at people at risk of dysfunction and social exclusion. In 2014, the Municipal Social Welfare Centre in Bolesławiec provided broadly understood support to 1,157 families.
