Awards are granted for outstanding achievements in artistic work, the dissemination and protection of culture, the development of science, outstanding results achieved in sport, and social initiatives contributing to the promotion of the city.
The following are entitled to submit applications for the awards:
- the Mayor of Bolesławiec
- the Bolesławiec City Council and committees of the Bolesławiec City Council
- cultural institutions, associations and creative unions
- art agencies and socio-cultural associations
- editorial offices of local newspapers, radio and television stations
- publishers
- educational institutions
- scientific and research institutions and organizations
- sports clubs, associations and organizations
- social and local-government organizations
- local governments, bodies and units of local governments.
Individuals and those interested in receiving the award themselves are not entitled to submit applications for the awards.
Applications for awards for promoting the city of Bolesławiec in 2015 should be submitted to the Customer Service Office at Rynek Street – the Town Hall, or at Marsz. J.
