Before the holidays, Dr. Oetker donated 25,000 yogurts to the Society of Friends of Children in Bolesławiec. "We had to collect them quickly and distribute them immediately because the holidays were already beginning," says Jadwiga Bobek of TPD.
The yogurts were donated to Bolesławiec churches, an orphanage and a homeless shelter. This was made possible thanks to the help of Mirosław Seneszyn from Mirko and Stanisław Zieliński, who delivered the yogurts to the parishes. Priests, parishioners and military personnel who volunteered at the chaplain's request helped unload them.
"The priests were very pleased with the donations. They held a Christmas Eve dinner for the poor and planned to distribute them to children and older people who, living on modest pensions, cannot always afford such a delicacy as yogurt," adds Jadwiga Bobek.
