Fifty minutes were enough to delight the listeners gathered at the Bolesławiec sanctuary. Among other works, the Hungarian ensemble performed J. S. Bach’s "Concerto in D minor for violin and orchestra." The audience’s greatest applause went to soprano Mária Zdori, an artist known precisely for her masterful interpretations of Baroque music, which have brought her the most important international awards.
The Capella Savaria group was founded in 1981. It specializes in music from the 17th and 18th centuries. The musicians play original instruments or faithful copies of them.
Encouraged by the applause of the Bolesławiec listeners, the ensemble played a piece as an encore.
