The village head and Village Council of Wierzbowa (Gromadka Municipality) invite you to an Evening of Borderland Culture, which will be held on 8 November (Sunday).

Program:

  • 15:00 – rosary at the Church of the Immaculate Conception of the Blessed Virgin Mary in Wierzbowa
  • 15:30 – meeting at the village community center in Wierzbowa
  • performance by the Ziemia Legnica Song and Dance Ensemble
  • presentation by ethnologist Henryk Dunin entitled “Intangible Cultural Heritage in Lower Silesia” (borderland cultural sources brought to Lower Silesia after 1945 by Polish settlers)
  • borderland cuisine
  • communal singing of traditional feast songs.
