The difficulties are related to the transport of large construction elements to the PTTK Strzecha Akademicka mountain hostel, where the wastewater treatment plant will be modernized. They may occur throughout the day, particularly from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
The KPN suggests that tourists heading to this part of the Karkonosze Mountains hike along tourist trails other than the popular paved trail, particularly the Yellow Trail (the former toboggan run), the Black Trail (Śląska Droga), the Red Trail via the PTTK Nad Łomniczką mountain hostel, or alternatively the Green Trail (Droga Bronka Czecha), followed by the Blue Trail through Kocioł Małego Stawu.
“Please exercise particular caution in the area of the PTTK Strzecha Akademicka mountain hostel,” say employees of Karkonoski National Park. “We apologize for the difficulties.”
