The Community Hall brought together many residents of Łaziska on Friday. Workstations were set up in the hall, where participants made Christmas tree decorations and figures for a nativity scene. There was also a place for singing enthusiasts, where they learned carols accompanied by a keyboard. A large Christmas nativity scene was also being prepared. The culinary part of the event took place in the kitchen. Under the watchful eye of adults, the children learned to make cabbage-filled pierogi, uszka for beetroot soup and cookies. After several hours, the time came for the participants to arrange and set the tables, which were then filled with the previously prepared Christmas treats.
The organizers of the Evening of Christmas Traditions were: the Municipal Cultural and Sports Centre in Bolesławiec, based in Kruszyn, and the Łaziska Rural Housewives’ Circle.
