At the same time, a number of accompanying events are planned. The fountain Muschelminna in Görlitz’s Post Square will light up, while colourful illumination accompanied by music will give the buildings located there a new glow. In front of Central café, located at the corner of Berlin Street and Salomon Street, DJ CueBrothers will entertain shoppers with music and a light show, while Dicker Turm tower on Marienplatz will appear in an entirely new and extraordinary light.
Stilt-walking artists will hand out fluorescent glow sticks, and torch shows will complete the entertainment. Of course, the streets and squares covered by the event will also offer a varied selection of food and drinks. The evening will conclude with a small fireworks display.
