The next arena for their competition was the 16th National TYMBARK CUP Football Tournament, which was held in Bolesławiec County on October 19, 2015. The younger boys impressed with their form and, in the tournament final, lost only to the team from Primary School in Nowogrodziec. It is worth mentioning that the Nowogrodziec team is almost entirely made up of players affiliated with football clubs. Thus, second place in the U-10 category of this prestigious tournament gives hope for further successes for the young footballers.
The boys in the U-12 category also faced a difficult task, finishing the tournament on the podium in the honourable third place. Reaching this position required tremendous determination. Our players lost to the UKS KUSY team, Poland’s fifth-ranked team in the ORLIK Tournament, then drew with Oxpress Primary School and recorded two victories over schools from Nowogrodziec and Gromadka!
Primary School in Ocice offers its students a wide range of sports activities, which they eagerly take advantage of. We can only hope that further successes on the sporting arenas are just a matter of time.
