The restoration of the stucco decoration, designed in an Art Nouveau-Rococo style, was carried out by top-class specialists. They worked on the hall’s ceiling, walls and window recesses. The preserved decorative elements had to be cleaned of dirt and old paint coatings, while all damaged elements were either restored or faithfully recreated. They were consolidated, impregnated and painted. The restorers used relief and sculpture techniques.

If all the restored stucco elements decorating the Royal Hall were arranged in a straight line, they would stretch for more than 10 kilometres.
