The incident occurred at night. – While patrolling Wrocławska Street, officers from the Traffic Division of the Municipal Police Headquarters in Legnica noticed a Honda traveling at excessive speed. The driver was driving aggressively, failed to comply with the road markings, and overtook a truck in a prohibited location – reports probationary inspector Jagoda Ekiert, press officer of the Municipal Police Headquarters in Legnica.
The officers reacted immediately and stopped the reckless driver’s car for a roadside check. During the identity check, they smelled alcohol on the 21-year-old man. A breathalyzer test showed 0.66 per mille of alcohol in his exhaled air. The man’s driving privileges were revoked.
