Many attractions were prepared for all the children. Teatr Avatar presented an interactive and humorous fairy tale entitled “Sea Tales”. The performance told the story of Ziutek, a naughty boy who gets into trouble and is kidnapped by an evil pirate because he disrespects nature, litters and constantly tramples the city’s greenery. Ultimately, however, Ziutek becomes a good boy who learns how important waste sorting is.
The performance featured actors, including stilt walkers, who invited the children to join in the fun. The actors’ wonderful costumes completed the experience. After the performance, the youngest attendees were offered many attractive gadgets as well as interesting games and activities, in which their parents also took part.
The series of events promoting selective waste collection was prepared by the Department of Environment and Waste Management of the Municipal Office. Further meetings in the series will also take place in Legnica’s Market Square on 11, 18 and 25 October and 8 November.
