This morning, an agreement was signed between Civic Platform, the Polish People's Party and the "Left and Democrats" Committee, represented by SLD. The new coalition presented its candidates for the city and county authorities.
The coalition's joint candidates for mayor, county head and deputy county head are Karol Stasik, Cezary Przybylski and Stanisław Chwojnicki. A representative of Civic Platform is also to become Chairperson of the County Council. "Civic Platform tried to hold coalition talks with Law and Justice and Ziemia Bolesławiecka, but there was no response from the other side," says Cezary Przybylski. According to the new coalition partners, the agreement they signed is the only chance to implement their election programs.
