During a press conference attended by County Head Dariusz Kwaśniewski, Deputy County Head Marian Haniszewski and full-time member of the Board of Bolesławiec County Stanisław Chwojnicki, held on 22 September, the county head spoke, among other things, about school investments, including the “quasi-Orlik” being built at the Construction School Complex. “The construction school’s gym is small and not full-size,” D. Kwaśniewski explained. Therefore, the local government decided to build a quasi-Orlik at the school.
The sports field at the Construction School Complex has already been renovated. The contractor will now install synthetic surfaces. The complex will include, among other facilities, a handball and volleyball court. “We believe that this school simply deserves such a sports complex,” the county head added.
It is worth noting that Bolesławiec County has received PLN 90,000 in funding from the Marshal’s Office of the Lower Silesian Voivodeship for this project.
