In the article Our fellow citizens are running for the Sejm. See who exactly, which we published on September 17, we wrote:

According to the Lca.pl portal, Piotr Roman, the mayor of Bolesławiec (second place), secretary Jerzy Zieliński (eighth place) and chairman of the Bolesławiec City Council Jarosław Kowalski (23rd place) were also expected to run from constituency no. 1 on the list of KWW JOW Bezpartyjni. We were unable to confirm this information today.

As it turned out, Piotr Roman will not run for the Sejm. This information was confirmed by the spokesperson for Bolesławiec City Hall, Agnieszka Gergont. “The matter is no longer current,” she stressed. “Mayor Piotr Roman is not running for the Sejm and has no intention of running.”

Could this be related to the fact that KWW JOW Bezpartyjni—as reported by local media, among others—did not register lists throughout the country? “I do not know the details,” A. Gergont replied. “I only know that Piotr Roman is not running in the parliamentary elections.”
