“Anyone Can Swim” – this is an already traditional competition organized by the Association of Parents of Children and Young People in Need of Special Care in Bolesławiec and consistently supported by the county authorities.
The ceremony at the “Orka” Water Park was opened by full-time member of the Bolesławiec County Board Stanisław Chwojnicki, who wished everyone sporting competition, positive emotions and, above all, a good time.
It was emphasized that the most important aim of the competition is to encourage people with disabilities to be active and promote healthy, active recreation through an integration-focused event.
Participants in the swimming competition included members of Occupational Therapy Workshops from Bolesławiec, Lwówek, Lubań, Chojnów and Zgorzelec, students of the Special School, and residents of the Environmental Self-Help Home in Bolesławiec. The latter deservedly won gold.
