Among the million children who have taken part in previous editions of the tournament were, among others, Tomasz Kędziora, Marcin Kamiński, Paulina Dudek and Arkadiusz Milik. This year’s edition of Europe’s largest tournament for children is being held in three age categories: U-8 (first grade of primary school), U-10 (second and third grades), and U-12 (fourth and fifth grades). The main prize will be a Poland national team match and a meeting with the Polish national squad. Teams may be registered only until September 25.

The competition is intended for primary schools, student sports clubs, the Young Eagles Academies and other organizations, such as associations and foundations. Teachers and coaches may register teams in the three age categories using the form available on the tournament’s official website, www.zpodworkanastadion.pl. The first matches will be played as early as late September and early October.

“Many current Poland national team players have taken part in previous editions. The competition we organize is great fun, but it is also an opportunity to compete against peers from all over Poland. Those lucky enough to make it through all the qualifying rounds and regional stages will play in the final at the National Stadium in May. Along the way, we will also do our best to teach you as much as possible and provide coaches with additional knowledge. Are you ready to begin this adventure? We are waiting for you!” says Zbigniew Boniek, president of the Polish Football Association.

The tournament has received honorary patronage from UEFA Grassroots, the Ministry of Sport and Tourism, and the Ministry of National Education.
