The crime took place on August 16 this year in Warta Bolesławiecka Commune. The 20-year-old burglar, a resident of Bolesławiec County, decided to take advantage of the homeowner’s temporary absence.
The perpetrator was detained. He confessed to the crime. He explained that he wanted to steal a large amount of money, but was sorely disappointed: he found only PLN 200 in the home.
The 20-year-old now faces up to 10 years in prison.
