This ensemble presents music from past eras in accordance with historical performance practice. It consists of students from the instrumental departments of the Karol Lipiński Academy of Music in Wrocław:

  • Olga Szęszoł (recorder)
  • Noemi Kuśnierz (baroque violin)
  • Szczepan Dembiński (baroque cello)
  • Adam Rorat (harpsichord).

The ensemble's name refers to the period when the Polish–Lithuanian Commonwealth was a strong and independent state. The group's artistic aim is to popularize Polish music from the Renaissance and Baroque periods.

In addition, the young artists are constantly looking for new sources of inspiration. The ensemble's repertoire includes works by Mikołaj Zieleński, Marcin Mielczewski, Adam Jarzębski, Stanisław Sylwester Szarzyński and other composers from earlier periods.

Admission to the concert is free! We warmly invite all music lovers! The concert will be led by Ryszard Dembiński, an expert and enthusiast of early music, the organizers say.
