In mid-October, the first qualifying tournament for the Lower Silesian youth girls’ volleyball championship was held in Jawor. This season, 15 teams are taking part, drawn into five groups of three teams each. In the first qualifying phase, the girls from TOP Bolesławiec played against “Radio Plus Legnica” and “Olimpia Jawor”.
Despite stage fright and many nervous moments in our team’s play, the TOP youth girls won both matches. The TOP – “Radio Plus Legnica” match ended 2:1 (25:12, 16:25, 15:13). In the match against “Olimpia Jawor”, the Bolesławiec team won 2:0 (25:23, 25:22). After the first tournament, TOP Bolesławiec’s youth girls lead the standings.
The Bolesławiec team played in the following lineup: Ola Rychlicka, Paulina Kopeć, Judyta Szłapa, Kasia Segiet, Edyta Szewczyk, Sylwia Duru, Kasia Jasińska, Dorota Medyńska, Dorota Burdyna, Zosia Lenkiewicz, Sandra Wilk, Estella Ilczyna.
