The opening of the “Begegnungen ‘Meeting’” exhibition took place on Sunday, August 16, at Marienstern Monastery in Panschwitz-Kuckau. The exhibition presents sculptures from the BOK-MCC collection, created between 2010 and 2014 during the Bolesławiec symposium. The exhibition features sculptures by symposium participants: Mateusz Grobelny, Edyta Orlińska, Yuri Ragazzini, Ruta Sipalyte, Kazimierz Kalkowski, Elke Punkt Fleich, CJ Jilek, Houda Ghorbel, Eva Aebi, Marianne Eggimann, Karina Marusińska, Elina Titane and Janina Myronova.
The International Ceramic and Sculpture Symposium has a 50-year tradition and is the oldest event of its kind in Poland. Over the years, it has become one of the important events promoting the region, creating opportunities for artistic dialogue, fostering contacts and cooperation—not only in the fields of art and culture, but also in discovering new technologies in the ceramic industry. The symposium effectively promotes the achievements of artists and outstanding ceramic sculptors from Poland and abroad.
