Streets whose traffic organization will change in connection with the event:

  • closure of A. Asnyka Street from the intersection with Bielska Street to the intersection with K. Miarki Street, along Priest J. Popiełuszki Square – from Thursday, 20 August to Monday, 24 August
  • closure of A. Asnyka Street further from Sierpnia 80 Street all the way to the Market Square – from Friday, 21 August, through Sunday, 23 August
  • closure of K. Miarki Street (at the level of the City Hall) – from Friday, 21 August, through Sunday, 23 August
  • closure of Łukasiewicza Street (from the intersection with K. Miarki Street), Bankowa Street and then Kościelna Street – from Friday, 21 August, through Monday, 24 August
  • closure of B. Prusa Street – from Friday, 21 August, through Sunday, 23 August; the Antiques Fair will be held here
  • closure of Marshal J. Piłsudski Square – from Thursday, 20 August to Monday, 24 August
  • closure of the parking lot (by Łukasiewicza Street), behind BOK–MCC – from Friday, 21 August to Monday, 24 August


On Saturday, 22 August, from 12:00 to 15:00, the Ceramic Parade of the Festival of Cultures will take place. Additional traffic difficulties will occur in connection with the event. The parade will follow this route: Kościelna Street (start) – Market Square – Sierpnia’80 Street – Karola Miarki Street – Łukasiewicza Street – Bielska Street – Adama Asnyka Street – Buczka Street – Spółdzielcza Street – Kosiby Street to the entrance to the Municipal Stadium (end of the parade).

We apologize for all difficulties and inconveniences, and ask drivers to exercise particular caution and not leave their cars on pavements along the planned parade route.

All visitors are invited to use the publicly accessible parking lots on the outskirts of the city. We ask city residents for their understanding and recommend taking walks :) For those who nevertheless plan to come to the event by car, we recommend:

  1. parking lot at the Municipal Stadium (outdoor), Spółdzielcza Street
  2. parking lot at the eastern railway station
  3. parking lot by Fabryczna Street
  4. parking lot by Staszica Street (after the crossing, next to MZGK)
  5. parking lot by Obrońców Helu Street
  6. parking lot by Sądowa Street
  7. parking lot by Cicha Street (by MOPS)
  8. parking lot by Parkowa Street (by the Municipal Medical Rehabilitation Facility)
