As part of Bolesławiec’s cooperation with its partner city of Pirna, sculptures created during the Bolesławiec symposium are being presented at the “Skulpturensommer2015” exhibition in Pirna. The exhibition aims to promote the work of artist-sculptors. Works by Halina Gabi Kłosowicz, Joto Giotto Dimitrow and Łukasz Karkoszka were among the pieces selected for the open-air exhibition. Their works can be admired at the exhibition until 13 September 2015.
Another exhibition, entitled “Begegnungen” (“Encounter”), presenting the richness of the cultural centre’s collections, will be held at Marienstern Monastery in Panschwitz-Kuckau. The opening of the exhibition will take place next Sunday, 16 August, at 3:30 p.m. The exhibition will feature works by symposium participants created between 2010 and 2014: Mateusz Grobelny, Edyta Orlińska, Yuriy Ragazzini, Ruta Sipalyte, Kazimierz Kalkowski, Elke Punkt Fleich, CJ jilek, Houda Ghorbel, Eva Aebi, Marianne Eggimann, Karina Marusińska, Elina Titane and Janina Myronova. The exhibition will be open until 11 October 2015.
