It looks like we will continue to experience oppressive heat until Sunday (16 August). According to meteorologists, daytime temperatures will not fall below 30 degrees until then. This does not mean, however, that summer is already over and that it will no longer be hot. Until the end of August, the mercury may approach and exceed the 30-degree mark. However, temperatures should no longer be as oppressive as they have been over the past few days (they should not approach 40 degrees in the shade).
