The opening of the exhibition "Clay Story. Ceramic sculptural works by Prof. Krzysztof Rozpondek of the E. Geppert Academy of Fine Arts in Wrocław" will take place on Saturday, 22 August, at 6:00 p.m., in the City History Department of the Museum of Ceramics at 14 Kutuzowa Street. The works on display are a selection of pieces by one of the most talented ceramic sculptors of recent years. The exhibition is accompanied by a catalogue.
Prof. Krzysztof Rozpondek graduated from the Faculty of Ceramics and Glass at the Wrocław PWSSP, in the studio of Prof. K. Cybińska. He has been teaching at the Academy of Fine Arts in Wrocław for many years. He has repeatedly taken part in Bolesławiec Ceramic and Sculptural Open-Air Workshops and is known as the creator of ceramic firing kilns erected during happenings in the local Market Square. He mainly creates series; his works are abstract compositions.
Workshops will be organised in both departments of the Bolesławiec museum, as well as in the Bolesławiec Market Square.

- 21 August 2015 (Friday), 14:00–17:00 seminar entitled Opportunities for the development of Bolesławiec ceramics based on R&D projects using the following instruments: “Horizon 2020” perspectives. The seminar is organised by the Bolesławiec Economic Association in cooperation with the Museum of Ceramics, under the patronage of Lower Silesian Voivodeship Marshal Cezary Przybylski, Bolesławiec County Head Dariusz Kwaśniewski and Mayor of Bolesławiec Piotr Roman
Admission to the Museum of Ceramics during the Ceramic Festival, as well as participation in all activities organised at that time, will be free of charge.
