On Thursday, Civic Platform officially launched its election campaign in the conference room of the District Office. Members and supporters of Civic Platform, as well as Sejm of the Republic of Poland MPs Beata Sawicka and Jarosław Duda, attended the campaign inauguration.

The candidates spoke about what needs to be done to make Bolesławiec an attractive city. Karol Stasik, Bolesławiec Civic Platform’s candidate for mayor, focused on economic development. In his view, Bolesławiec can develop more quickly than it currently does. Stasik’s main priority is to offer young people jobs so that they do not have to move abroad. The Civic Platform mayoral candidate also wants to develop residential construction.

After Karol Stasik’s speech, Dariusz Kwaśniewski, Bolesławiec Civic Platform’s candidate for the Lower Silesian Voivodeship Assembly, took the floor.

Dariusz Kwaśniewski also presented Bolesławiec Civic Platform’s Election Programme. The candidate for the regional assembly also spoke about possibilities for more effective acquisition of European Union funds.
