The film is the result of cooperation between the Bolesławiec Film School and the Film Education Workshop operating at the Bolesławiec Cultural Centre–International Ceramics Centre. The film’s plot tells the story of a middle-school student who, wanting to speak the same language as his peers, becomes drawn into the world of computer games, which begin to dominate his life.

“We began filming at the end of March,” says Michał Szwed, the group’s supervisor. “The filming took place in Bolesławiec.” Marcel Sasiela, the camera operator responsible for the cinematography, explains: “Film is a tough business. We had to put a great deal of work into every scene so that viewers could see the finished film.” The young people of Bolesławiec are not resting on their laurels; work on a new film by the BOK-MCC Film Education Workshop, “Analogowe życie” (“Analog Life”), begins as early as August.
