These individuals contribute to the local community’s lack of a sense of security. They commit socially disruptive offenses, including consuming alcohol, littering and disturbing the nighttime quiet. They also commit acts bearing the characteristics of a crime, namely property damage. Moreover, while under the influence of alcohol or intoxicants, they engage in aggressive behavior.

Therefore, police officers from Precincts I and II of the Community Police Officers’ Unit of the District Police Headquarters in Lubin conducted intensified nighttime operations. The officers checked stairwells, courtyards and playgrounds (33 locations indicated by residents).

The community police officers checked the identities of 89 people, recorded 36 offenses and detained one intoxicated driver. They checked 11 vehicles and carried out 60 various interventions.

The police announce that operations of this kind will continue.
