Integrated Territorial Investments are a new tool for implementing regional development strategies. They will be used to carry out measures supporting the sustainable development of urban areas. In the Lower Silesian Voivodeship, ITIs have been established around the Wrocław Functional Area, the Wałbrzych Agglomeration and the Jelenia Góra Agglomeration. Altogether, they will have nearly €600 million at their disposal.
The Jelenia Góra Agglomeration ITI includes: the City of Jelenia Góra, Janowice Wielkie Municipality, Jeżów Sudecki Municipality, the City of Karpacz, the City of Kowary, Mysłakowice Municipality, the City of Piechowice, Podgórzyn Municipality, Stara Kamienica Municipality, the City of Szklarska Poręba, Gryfów Śląski Municipality and City, Lubomierz Municipality and City, Mirsk City and Municipality, Wleń City and Municipality, Pielgrzymka Municipality, Świerzawa City and Municipality, the City of Wojcieszów and the City of Złotoryja.
The leader of the ITI will be the Jelenia Góra municipality, which will also serve as the intermediary institution for the tasks entrusted to it under the agreement.
