Tres was formed in April 2013 in Bolesławiec on the initiative of guitarist Mirosław Kuc, vocalist Aleksandra Sozańska-Kut, with the participation of computer scientist, bridge player and guitarist Sławomir Zimniak.
In 2014, percussionist Andrzej Dziedzic joined the band, and the vocalist changed—today, it is Kamila Osuch.
The band about itself:
Our motto is: “What plays in our souls…”—hence our very diverse repertoire. We play jazz standards, bossa nova, samba, flamenco, blues, funk, gitano, gospel and classical music—both guitar and vocal. These include covers of well-known songs in our own arrangements, as well as the band’s original compositions. The group’s most distinctive feature is the excellent blend of classical guitars with the vocalist’s voice. The varied musical styles we have practised for many years give us great creative freedom and the opportunity to move between different genres, contributing to the band’s unique sound. We enjoy playing with harmony, tone colour and the acoustics of interiors. As a result, every concert becomes an extraordinary event, as confirmed by listeners’ reviews.
