The performers will be vocalists and musicians: Agnieszka Damrych, Natalia Lubrano, Mateusz Pospieszalski, Łukasz Damrych, Łukasz Sobolak, Kamil Pełka and Dariusz Gruszecki.
Agnieszka Damrych – vocalist
Originally from Lubin, known as Agnieszka Kalisz, she received awards at the National French Song Festival held in Lubin in 2000–2003. She is a graduate of the first-degree State Music School in Lubin, where she studied piano. She currently lives in Wrocław, where she has been professionally involved with the local artistic community for ten years. Since 2003, she has collaborated on the creation of theatrical and musical performances and spectacles, among others with Capitol Musical Theatre, Teatr Formy, Teatr Arka, projects of the State Higher School of Theatre, off-stage projects at the Wrocław Review of Acting Songs, and the Edith Stein Society in Wrocław on Polish-German theatre productions. She is currently the vocalist of the Madlove group and the Girls on Fire vocal trio, finalists of the third edition of the 2013 show “X Factor.” Aga Damrych also performs as a backing vocalist in such musical projects as Bartek Miarka Band, Alicja Janosz, Hoodoo Band and Shata QS, winner of the sixth edition of “Must Be The Music – Tylko Muzyka” in 2014.
Natalia Lubrano – vocalist
Born in Wrocław, this vocalist, composer and lyricist is associated with the Wrocław music scene. She graduated from the Grażyna Bacewicz State Music School in Wrocław and the private Jazz à Tours school in France. On the Polish music scene, she is known for many years of cooperation with Wrocław’s hip-hop community and for her work with the Miloopa band, with which she released three albums: “Nutrition Facts” (2005), “Unicode” (2008) and “Optica” (2011). She has also performed with Andrzej Smolik and Renata Przemyk, as well as in the FoxBox project alongside Novika, Maria Peszek and Paulina Przybysz. She has lent her voice to approximately twenty albums by other musicians. In 2012, she performed, among other events, at the 49th National Festival of Polish Song in Opole, in a concert dedicated to Anna Jantar and Jarosław Kukulski entitled “Życia mała garść,” where she performed the song “Nic nie może wiecznie trwać” in an arrangement by her band. In March 2012, the vocalist and her band released their original album “R.E.S.P.E.C.T.,” issued by Kayax. She was a laureate of the 35th Review of Acting Songs in Wrocław, where she received the audience award and the jury award.
Łukasz Damrych – pianist, arranger, composer, music producer
He composed music for such performances as “Moją twarz Ci opiszę,” “Grzechy,” “9 chwil,” “Zwyczajne szaleństwa,” “Przygody małego M,” and “W pośpiechu do nieba – Edyta Stein.” For many years, he worked with the Ocelot acrobatic theatre. At the 26th Review of Acting Songs in Wrocław, performing as Bartosz Porczyk’s accompanist, he received the Tukan Aranżer award for the best musical arrangement of 2006. He composed and arranged music for songs in Bartosz Porczyk’s original performance “Smycz” and produced the actor’s debut album “Sprawca.” As a keyboardist, he took part in a concert by Mike Patton. For many years, he has worked with performers and bands such as The Positive (Mateusz Krautwurst), Natalia Lubrano and Alicja Janosz. In 2007, he began working with Katarzyna Groniec. He arranges, records and produces the actress’s subsequent albums. In 2013, together with the Shata QS band, he won the sixth edition of the television programme “Must Be The Music – Tylko Muzyka.”
Kamil Pełka – interdisciplinary musician
A double bassist and bass guitarist, he has been involved in music since childhood. He graduated in Jazz and Popular Music, studying bass guitar and double bass under Jacek Niedziela-Meira at the University of Zielona Góra. As a bassist, he works with many renowned artists and bands: Wayne Ellington (gospel), Mike Russell (jazz, soul, funk), Sebastian Frankiewicz (jazz), Waldemar Franczyk (jazz), Dhoad-Rivendell (ethno), YanTa (classical music, ethno, jazz) and Norris Garner (gospel). He is a permanent member of Marcin Fic Quintet and Jazz Menu. Together with the Kamil Pełka Band, he runs weekly jam sessions at the Collosseum Jazz Caffe club in Wrocław.
Dariusz Gruszecki – composer, arranger
He plays the saxophone, flute, bass clarinet, keyboards and accordion, and sings. He creates and performs spoken-word and musical programmes for children and parents, and works as a compère. He graduated from the Faculty of Arts at the University of Zielona Góra and the Instrumental Faculty of the Karol Lipiński Academy of Music in Wrocław, specialising in clarinet. His achievements include numerous concerts and projects, as well as collaborations with musicians and cultural centres in Lower Silesia. He arranges music and leads the Good News band, which has just released its debut album. He has worked with Nouvelle Sound, Tooday and Green Tee. He arranges and performs his own pieces on saxophone and clarinet. He co-creates projects and events such as Evenings of Praise and Papal Evenings in the local community.
