Throughout the evening, visitors could also watch multimedia photography presentations prepared by members of the “Camera” Photographic Association.
The series of photography activities ended with the “Great Flash” event, conceived by Sławomir Guzowski and held in front of the building. At a set signal, everyone gathered took a photograph of the Museum using a flash at the same moment.
Activities related to the “Włocławek Faience” exhibition took place in the Ceramics Department at 13 Mickiewicza Street. The exhibition, prepared for the Night of Museums, attracted crowds of visitors eager to see ceramic designs from the 1970s, 1980s and 1990s that differed from those of Bolesławiec. Decorative workshops were prepared for children, during which, under the supervision of instructor Helena Cieślukowska, they could make a floral pattern inspired by Włocławek decoration. Many other games and competitions were also held. Visitors could also watch films and presentations.
During the nighttime tours of both Museum departments, staff were happy to offer advice and answer visitors’ questions. Children were welcomed with sweet treats in the exhibition rooms. The last visitors left the museum a few minutes before midnight.
