On Saturday and Sunday, a ceramics fair was held in the Market Square. An antiques market was organized on Prusa Street. Children could see what working at a potter’s wheel was like. Various groups of artists performed in the Market Square and the adjacent streets.

On Saturday evening, the band Bajm played for the residents of Bolesławiec, followed by the Yoma Fire Dancers’ Theatre from Legnica.

During the Ceramic Festival, historical camps were set up in the square near the Bolesławiec Cultural Centre by the Czech Knecht group and the Knights of the Lusatian Forests and Wildernesses.

Participants in the Youth Ceramics and Sculpture Open-Air Workshop, led by Czesław Matyjewicz from Bolesławiec and Jana Glaserová from Česká Lípa, worked continuously near the Bolesławiec Cultural Centre.

The festival concluded with an outdoor performance entitled “Dancing Fountains,” featuring the Jeunesses Musicales youth orchestra.

This year’s Ceramic Festival, namely “An Open-Air Ceramic Event of the Polish-Czech Borderland – Bolesławiec Ceramic Festival 2006,” received a grant from European Union funds במסגרת the Small Projects Fund of INTERREG III A of the Nysa Euroregion Poland-Czech Republic.
