The grouping began with a joint assembly of all the soldiers taking part in the training. On behalf of the head of the Rocket and Artillery Forces Directorate, the training was opened by his deputy—the head of the directorate’s department, Colonel Sławomir Owczarek. He presented the main principles and objectives guiding the exercises that were beginning. Colonel Owczarek also highlighted the safety and discipline of the participants.

Safety and discipline were also the next issues discussed during the assembly. The rules of occupational health and safety, fire protection and environmental protection were presented by a representative of CSAiU, Captain Ireneusz Cackowski. Disciplinary matters were addressed by a representative of the Military Police, Major Piotr Tkaczyk.

The assembly concluded with a joint parade of the artillerymen. In addition to representatives of the units, accountants and reconnaissance groups from all subunits of the Rocket and Artillery Forces will also train over the coming days.

After the inauguration of the field training, the soldiers of the 23rd Silesian Artillery Regiment moved to the area where the regiment’s subunits were stationed.
