The Southwestern Forum of Local Government "Pogranicze", in cooperation with the Regional Centre for Environmental Education in Lubań and the Świeradów Forest District, invites teachers of natural sciences, naturalists and people involved in environmental education from the counties of Bolesławiec, Lubań, Lwówek and Zgorzelec to participate in Polish-Czech workshops for educators in Świeradów Zdrój.

The workshops will be held on 7–9 September 2006 (teachers from lower- and upper-secondary schools) and 2–4 October 2006 (primary school teachers). Thanks to funding obtained from the European Union under the Interreg IIIA Poland-Czech Republic Small Projects Fund and from the state budget, participation in the workshops is free of charge. The detailed programme, together with registration forms, is available on the association’s website.

The workshops are part of the "Our Jizera Mountains" project, whose main objective is to support the creation of a cross-border cooperation network and contacts between institutions and individuals involved in nature conservation and environmental education in the Polish and Czech parts of the Nysa Euroregion.
