– In Lower Silesian Voivodeship, we are looking for 45 people who will create Szlachetna Paczka districts in their local communities – the organizers say. – Zgorzelec, Bolesławiec, Jelenia Góra, Legnica and Lubin are among these places. This is an important moment in the project, because only where a leader is found in June will the project reach those in need with assistance in December.
Leaders are people who run the project in the places where they live. They assemble teams of volunteers, obtain addresses of families living in poverty through no fault of their own, and ensure that the highest-quality assistance is prepared. For 74% of volunteers, taking part in Szlachetna Paczka was the most important event of their lives!

– I felt an enormous strength within me when I saw that I really could change the place where I live! Through Szlachetna Paczka, I learned how to manage people, communicate effectively with a team and organize my working time – says Ewa, an experienced Szlachetna Paczka leader.
– We are looking for responsible people who want to help and genuinely change their surroundings, who can work in a group and organize other people's work – adds Rev. Jacek „Wiosna” Stryczek, the project's initiator. – We offer training and professional development, a chance to test yourself in action and to take part in wise assistance.
In 2014, Szlachetna Paczka united nearly 1,000,000 Poles! Among those who have already become involved in organizing the project are Bronisław and Anna Komorowscy, Kamil Stoch and the entire Evenement Team, Anna Mucha, Barbara Kurdej-Szatan, Mariusz Wlazły and Jakub Błaszczykowski.
