From May 1, Forum will be showing the action-packed adventure film “Viking Saga” as a premiere—a sweeping tale of the days when Scandinavian warriors in horned helmets spread terror throughout Europe. For those who want to laugh and enjoy movie romances, there is the story of a handsome heartbreaker and a divinely unattainable, wounded divorcee in “Taming the Playboy.” From May 2, we invite the youngest viewers to see the hilarious animated film “Oops! The Ark Has Sailed Away,” which answers the question of what happened to the animals for whom there was no room on Noah’s Ark.
For another week, Forum will be showing “Jan Karski and the Lords of Humanity,” a film made on the 101st anniversary of the birth of the legendary emissary of the Polish Underground State, as well as “System (Child 44),” a screen adaptation produced by Ridley Scott of Tom Rob Smith’s bestselling novel “Child 44,” also published in Poland— the Soviet Union under Stalin’s rule. A disgraced security officer begins investigating a series of mysterious child murders.
