Each participant in the campaign writes one great dream on a piece of paper and then folds the paper into a crane (of any size). The resulting model should be delivered by 10 May to the headquarters of the Bolesławiec Cultural Centre – International Ceramics Centre, Pl. Marsz. J. Piłsudskiego.
Those who do not know how to fold a crane are invited on Saturday, 9 May at 11:00 a.m. to BOK-MCC (first floor/lobby). You will learn how to create such a model, and for us it will be a unique opportunity to “construct” your dreams together with you! Sign up at the Tourist and Cultural Information Point at BOK-MCC, tel. 75 645 32 90.
Additionally, we have prepared a series of origami workshops on making a crane model for organized groups; simply arrange a meeting by phone: 665 894 580. You are very welcome!
We hope to collect 1,000 cranes, which will form an art installation in the lobby of our centre. Who knows, perhaps one of these dreams will come true, because Japanese legends say that anyone who folds 1,000 cranes will have one great dream fulfilled, as well as enjoy good health and a long life. We dedicate this campaign to everyone who has dreams!
