As Andrzej Szymkowiak, director of the Municipal Roads Authority, reports, the pavement between Piekarska and Bankowa streets was already worn out. During the work, the old, cracked slabs will be replaced with paving blocks.
Meanwhile, the asphalt surface in the courtyard at Złotoryjska Street is being repaired. Workers are cutting out the damaged material and filling the area with new asphalt. According to estimates, around 20 tonnes of asphalt will be used in this courtyard. “We have been waiting for these renovations and are very happy that the surface beneath our blocks will be durable and aesthetically pleasing,” says a resident of Piekarska Street, Mr Andrzej.
