The ZUS Electronic Services Platform is Poland’s first and largest e-government office. The first users registered their accounts there almost two years ago, in mid-2012. Since then, its popularity—and consequently the number of users—has continued to grow.
And what have ZUS clients gained from the launch of the platform? Above all, continuous access to all their data stored at the Social Insurance Institution. Pensioners and disability pension recipients can verify the amount of their benefits, while employed people can check on an ongoing basis whether their employer is paying contributions on their behalf. Entrepreneurs can settle their accounts with ZUS, send documents, and even pay contributions there. One of the service’s features—the pension calculator—uses the data saved in the account and a projection of future earnings to calculate the projected pension.
More about the platform and its features, as well as social insurance, can be found on the YouTube profile Elektroniczny ZUS.
